Allergen Notice
Last updated: 12 June 2026
This page provides the allergen information required under EU Regulation 1169/2011 (Food Information to Consumers), Articles 9 and 36, for distance sales of food. The allergen list below appears on the product packaging and is required to be available before you purchase.
Allergens present in Pranasalt 150-Sachet Box
Pranasalt seasoning contains:
- Mustard
- Wheat Flour (contains gluten)
- Sesame
These three substances are listed in Annex II of Regulation (EU) 1169/2011 and are emphasised in bold on the product label and here, as required by Article 21(1)(b) of that Regulation.
Other ingredients (not regulated allergens)
The product also contains spices including asafoetida (hing). Asafoetida is a traditional South Asian spice and is not a regulated allergen under Annex II - it is named here for transparency, not as an allergen warning.
Cross-contamination notice
Pranasalt is blended in Latvia and stick-pack-filled in the Netherlands at a multi-product food facility. While our partners apply standard food-safety controls (HACCP, allergen-segregation procedures), we cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination from other products handled at these facilities. If you have a severe allergy to any substance in Annex II of Reg. 1169/2011 (cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soybeans, milk, nuts, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphites, lupin, molluscs), please consider this before purchase.
Children, pregnancy, special diets
Pranasalt is a culinary seasoning. Treat it as you would any salt-and-spice blend. We make no medical claims and do not recommend it as a substitute for medical advice on dietary needs in pregnancy, lactation, or for young children.
